The Orchid illustration spectacles pouch is approximately 6.5cm x 16.5cm (2.5″ x 6.5″); The design wraps around onto both sides, and is sewn double-layered, to enhance the protection for your glasses. The orchid design appears on both sides of the pouch. A description of the image appears on the inside of the flap. The pouch is lined with red polka dots, and the flap is stitched so that it naturally stays shut without the need for fastenings which could damage your glasses.

The beautiful image on the orchid illustration spectacles pouch is by the Victorian botanical illustrator Sarah Drake, and is taken from the 1837 book, Orchidaceae of Mexico and Guatemala.
In the book the orchid is labelled as Epidendrum macrochilum (var. Roseum). This is one of many synonyms for the plant which is now known as Encyclia cordigera.
